On Premise Specialist - San Francisco

The On Premise Specialist position is responsible for developing selling relationships with high-image, high-volume on premise retailers. The role is very focused on the local market making it critical for people in this role to deeply understand the local on-premise dynamics. This local insight will be applied to various programs and promotions to deliver increased volume growth and brand awareness.

The On Premise Specialist has 3 primary areas of responsibility - Account Management & Retail Execution, Distributor Management, and Fiscal Planning/Management.

Account Management & Retail Execution:

Responsible for the development and execution of the On-Premise strategy in the assigned area

Responsible for account segmentation, market penetration, account selection process and overall account management selling and merchandising planning for assigned area

Responsible for the coordination and execution of experiential On-Premise programming through agencies

Develop, implement and measure On-Premise retail and promotions merchandising standards

Distributor Management:

Accountable for influencing distributor performance in targeted accounts

Coordinates and aligns with distributor OP organizations and with MillerCoors Distributor Sales Manager

Drives account segmentation and selection with distributors

Develops strong relationships with On-Premise managers at Distributor

Responsible for the territory on-premise volume plan and assigned volume plan with distributor

Responsible for developing aligned on-premise performance scorecard with distributors - tracks, measures and reviews performance with distributors

Fiscal Responsibility and Planning:

Manages total volume against monthly, quarterly, and annual plans

Maintains fiscal discipline and adherence corporate guidelines

Prioritize market investments for short term and long term growth in volume and share (including managing agency experiential and promotions budgets as allocated)

Provides input and direction into planning unit annual business plans

Education & Experience Requirements:

Qualified candidates are required to have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience. Please know that a Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred

Qualified candidates will have also demonstrated success in relevant prior work experience, preferably in a sales capacity
